18 months

I can't believe it has been 18 months since Hannah was born. Then again, I can hardly remember life without her. She sure is a little spitfire! Boy, you should see her temper...wonder where she gets that from. LOL Don't have any stats, but she is still little... or is it petite. I don't know the politically correct word for it since it was never me! She does like to eat though. She will say and sign eat, then run and back herself up to her high chair and wait for me to put her in. She is not fond of bedtime either. She kicks her little feet when I am putting her in the crib. She gets even madder if I try to cover her up. She will grunt "no" and roll away. If I turn on her music she says, "no, no, no" and will turn it off. Sometimes I wonder if it is all for show because usually she gets quiet as soon as I leave her room. I do have a picture of her today. Today after church we went for some Mexican food. Well, I won't let Hannah have chips. I didn't have enough food in the bag to keep her busy until the meal came. She really wanted some chips and cheese just like the rest of us. She got really excited when the waitress put a plate in front of her (young and obviously doesn't have kids). Hannah even moved her plate to the very center of her place mat and just smiled at me while I put some cheese on everyones plate. She waited so patiently, how could I not give her some. Let me just say she LOVED it! She was trying to grab it by the fistful. When her plate was dry, she starred at mine until I gave her the ok to dig into it too. For the most part she did good with the plate. I put the rest of her dinner on the plate, but when she was done, I was reminded why I don't give her plates! Needless to say, that young waitress had to clean up little plate pieces off the floor while Hannah smiled at her. She then nicely threw her sippy cup down too. Guess she wanted to make sure it got cleaned up also.
