Again????

I have a Hannah funny for you. Back in January, I had a teacher conference at Josh's school. Hannah disappeared. We later found her in the boys bathroom doing her business. Since then we have gone over how to tell the difference between boys and girls. She now knows. If there is a bathroom that doesn't have a picture of a stick figure in a dress, she will stop to ask before just running in. Well...not today!

Last week I planned to surprise Samantha at school for lunch. A car accident kept me away, but that is for another post. Today, despite feeling horrible from the accident, I decided to take her lunch. She was so thrilled when she saw me. We are chowing down on our lunch, and thoroughly enjoying it. Hannah decides she is done. She gets up...without her shoes and acts like she is leaving. I am slow moving due to the aforementioned accident. Well, by the time I get myself out of/off the table Hannah is in the bathroom...the BOYS bathroom. The table of kids next to the bathroom is cracking up, and pointing. I am standing at the door telling her to come out. One little boy who likes Samantha offers to go in and get her, but when he sees her sitting on the toilet, he comes back out and says, he shouldn't be in there. Of course not all 4th graders feel like that. Some went in and did there business while she was in there. After me telling her to come out over and over, she finally does...with her pants down! I grab her and go to the girls bathroom to wash her hands AND feet. By this time there are about 3 tables of laughing 4th graders. Usually for the last 5 minutes or so of lunch they have to be quiet. Hannah decided to use the quiet time to become the drama queen. She was making all kinds of noises, and then would crack up laughing. If you have ever heard her real laugh, then you know it is impossible to not laugh with her. Of course all 7 tables of 4th graders were laughing. The teacher on duty was giggling...really, what else could she do? I told Hannah is was time to quiet. She said no, it was time for her to be funny. This of course caused more laughing. Other teachers came out to see what was so funny. Finally, I decided quiet lunch is not ready for Hannah. I try to leave, but she hangs on desperately to Samantha's arm. She was not leaving her sister. I can't pick her up right now, so I grab a pack of gum out of my purse. I walk with it just out of her reach until we reach the door. By now the 4th graders are laughing hysterically!

Samantha kindly asked me to never ever bring Hannah back for lunch!

On the way out with giggles, I am told Caleb is in the nurses office. UGH!!! Last week I had to pick him up the day of my accident because he was itching horribly. Thursday I had to pick him up from school because he injured his neck on the playground. I did not send him Friday. I stop by the nurses office to see him lounging in the chair like he is right at home. The nurse spins him around so I can see how funny he looks. Then she takes his note. Turns out he was there to get more nurse passes for his teacher. Of course Hannah continues her antics in the nurses office WITH Caleb! Caleb is not one to shy away from being silly...this is me rolling my eyes.

What on earth and I going to do with the child?
