Hannah's first push up pop

I totally caved today. I was so totally hungry to the point I felt lightheaded, so I didn't really want to go home to prepare dinner. We stopped in at Chuy's. We=me + 4kids. It went surprisingly well. I was totally shocked. I chose Chuy's because Marc doesn't like it, so we never go. The kids get push pops after they are finished eating. It didn't occur to me that Hannah had never had a push pop until she sat it on the table like a cup and tried to suck on the stick like a straw. That had us all ROFL right off the bat. I picked it up and showed her how to hold it. She would take a lick or two and then put it back on the table like a cup. I had to push the ice cream up for her, THEN she "got it"! It was a hilarious mess! Samantha used every napkin she could find trying to clean up after each little lick. I tried to convince her that it was pointless. Sure enough by the time Hannah finished she had it in her hair (which already had cereal, marshmellows, glitter, marker, and the boys cream in it....it was a long day), arms, legs, clothes, on me...you name it, it was covered. She had a good time though. The people around us had a good time watching her. It was actually nice to be looked at in a restaurant because a child is being cute and not because....well, you have heard some of my stories. You know we sometimes get the "why did you bring them here" look. Here are some photos for your enjoyment. I only wish I had a camera and not just my phone.
