We are all ok!

Just wanted to let everyone know we are all ok. I managed to post on the Project 365 Blog, but just in case you don't read that here is the low down. We are fine. Our house has lots of shingles off and smells like dog since Sandy was in the whole time. We were staying at my dad's Friday through Monday, but he doesn't have power either and no gas, so no more hot water. In an effort to figure out what to do for my family I found a few relative willing to take in all 6 of us. One was up near Waco. We weren't sure about being so far away. My other uncle in Spring has power and a few people already there, plus loads of others using his shower, washer and dryer. So all 6 of us are in 1 room of a single wide mobile home. It is cozy and nice to be around family. Of course all the extras are nice too! My uncle is being so generous it is just wonderful. I thank God for him and his generosity! My dad's should have power by Friday, so the plan is to head back there where we have more room. They are out of town and plan to breeze in and out Friday if there is still no power. According to the news last night, my area will have power on Sept. 29, yes that is right. I know you are looking at your calenders now thinking OMG! Sure, there is a possibilty it will be on before then, but with Entergy and their track record I won't hold my breath! The kids are great, just always hungry and seemed to forget out to use their imaginations and play outside. I can only get internet access from outside in the street, which means at night I am eat up by mosquitos or during the day I have to hide in the hot car so I can see my screen! I would like to thank my other cousin for her network key to make it possible though! We all know how much I HATE being without internet...even if I don't get to do much because of the mosquitos. My next mission is to find an open Starbucks! Now, come on quit laughing ya'll, it has been a whole week!!!!! Thanks for thinking and praying for us. I will blog more later, but right now the mosquitos are feasting on me!!!
