Summer

Aside from the suffocating heat, I LOVE summer!!!!! I am so not a morning person, so just getting to sleep in past 6am is enough to make me happy. Anyway, just so it doesn't look like I am neglecting this blog (again), I am going to give some reasons why I love summer.

-sleeping late

-family time

-ability to do spontaneous things...as opposed to working around school, homework, church activities, and sports

-Hannah's sweet face in the mornings. She usually appears next to my bed with this cute smile and says, "mommy". Now if that could be my alarm clock every day of the year I would be good. :)

-ability to hang out in our pjs all day if we want to.

-swimming

-vacation

-VBS

-Houston Project

-summer camps

-air conditioning

and one final thing....

-sleeping late!!!!

All in all this has been a GREAT summer, it is just going by too fast. In a few weeks I will have to start getting everyone back on a normal sleeping schedule. I also need to start thinking about school supplies and school clothes. Josh has grown a few inches in the last few weeks, so none of his stuff fits him. Actually, I might have to buy his stuff in the next week because he is going to camp. I can't send him with 2 pair of shorts and a pair of slacks...can I?
