A whole week!

I can't believe it has been a week since I updated last. We have been busy. Last week we went to the zoo. It was fun. Hannah enjoyed it much more than last year. She did call quite a few things "dog" though. Sometimes she would sit up in the stroler and say "WOOOOOOW". She was just too funny. I also let her go in the petting zoo. She made a goat friend and followed it around hugging it.

This weekend we went up to East Texas to visit some family. My older kids have been dying to walk in some woods and we just don't have any around. They got to do that. I chose not to take Hannah. We did the zoo in Lufkin. It was nice, but HOT. Much smaller than the zoo here. Hannah enjoyed it though. She even got to ride the train. She was a little scared at first but then she LOVED it! She had this huge grin on her face the whole time. Hannah did not do well with being in a different place though. I am shocked because she usually just goes with the flow. She was drawn to the stairs and wanted to go up and down all the time. She didn't like it if I got out of her sight and would cry. Bedtime was no fun either. Finally, Samantha got in the playpen with her and held her. She was timid of Uncle Donnie and wouldn't go near him. On the last day as I was loading the car, she pretty much ran straight into him. She was following me and he was coming in. She was trapped with no where to go, so he picked her up. She did not cry. I don't think she did anything at first. LOL He patted her back and she just put her head down. Another Hannah funny...I took her outside for a walk. We went out the back door and she said "dog" and took off. She got a pretty long way through the pasture and then looked down. The ground is really dry and cracked pretty badly. She saw the cracks and got freaked out. She just stood there terrified to move. She really wanted me to pick her up, but instead I talked to her and held her hand as she walked back. She avoided stepping on any cracks and would say "OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" when she saw them.
