I can't wait until Hannah can learn that ants bite! I guess she would have to learn that the hard way though. Anyway, after my first shower of the day the kids informed me of a HUGE ant pile in some big weeds at the base of the steps. Why are there weeds? The mower doesn't reach there and unless I get a chance to use the weedeater, it won't get done. Marc doesn't really see the need for it. HA Well, I managed to get out there and get all those things down and out. They are coming up between concrete step things. I got all the ants killed too, but while I was doing that Hannah seems to find and nearly step in EVERY ant bed we have. Which is apparently a lot more than I thought. Now she is in and happily eating dinner and I have poison on every spec of dirt that might possibly be an anthill or underground colony or even where I saw an ant crawling. Hopefully, I can send them all to someone elses yard so she doesn't have to be shadowed in our yard.
Oh yeah, I don't always update this blog everyday, but Project 365 is getting updated daily with a new pic and story.

ReplyDeletesorry about the ants. I hate ants. We had a lot at the other house. I haven't seen too many here. We have a lot of spiders in the yard, but not too many in the house, thank goodness!
